It’s not easy hunting down those Brutals. There’s a true frenzy around them. The wines have achieved cult status and although they do make it to Instagram, few make it to retail shelves. But while other cult wines, such as Overnoy, arise from an established reputation for gorgeousness, the passion for the Brutals has degraded to a strange sort of pure status obsession.
